Beautifully done mate this honestly how I pictured Lavellan trying to leave the Inquisition at first before the "In Your Heart Shall Burn" quest with Solas coming to convince or force them to stay. However, who said I'll stay a little while longer or did they both say it unison in their heads? I asks because I find it funny that a certain egg actually leaves.
